The Race for Super Intelligence Will Decide Our Future as a Species w/ Salim Ismail & Dave Blundin | EP #179
Peter DiamandisSalim IsmailDave Blundin
The superintelligence race is framed as potentially winner-take-all, with a leading model soon able to improve itself while math and code advance faster than biology constrained by data and full-cell simulation.Electricity may be the binding constraint as China scales solar and nuclear faster than the US, making cheap storage a potentially trillion-dollar breakthrough while Meta’s $100 million recruiting packages and $14.8 billion Scale AI stake reflect insurance against falling behind.
