Trade Idea: Autonolas ( $OLAS ) - AIP-6 Proposal

Rumors have been circulating within the Autonolas community about an upcoming announcement regarding the Autonolas Chain. Intrigued, I decided to investigate further. After confirming the rumors and learning that the announcement is expected next week, I see this as a strong trading opportunity. The project aligns perfectly with the AI agents meta and has a clear catalyst on the horizon.

@sfgangloff and @david_enim (Co-founder) have been drafting a proposal (AIP-6) exploring the optimal framework for the Autonolas Chain. The draft outlines three potential approaches:

· Optimism Superchain Framework

· Arbitrum Orbit

· RaaS (Rollup as a Service) with Gelato

The proposal lists several key advantages:

1. Revenue generation: The protocol could capture sequencer fees as profit.

2. Cost-efficiency: Native $OLAS mechanisms would operate more efficiently.

3. Increased adoption: Gas fees from tools like OLAS Predict would directly benefit the ecosystem.

4. Enhanced scalability: Improved infrastructure for Autonolas applications.

5. Strengthened utility: If $OLAS is used as a gas token, it would reinforce its status as a utility token.

Development is estimated to take 12-24 months, with potential acceleration if the RaaS route is chosen.

Multiple sources suggest that AIP-6 will be officially announced in December, potentially as early as next week.

While the team has historically resisted CEX listings, they appear to be warming up to the idea. A potential Tier 1 CEX listing could be announced soon, adding further upside potential for OLAS.

A comparable event to consider is the Arweave chain announcement, which serves as a precedent for the potential market reaction.
